Making a purchase

Our prices are based on face-to-face or online (virtual) training, just browse our courses and once you have selected go to the checkout. Should you not find what you are looking for or require bespoke, regular, or larger group training please email us directly at info@rivatraining.co.uk

Payments

  • Courses must be paid for before your reservation confirmation is provided and your course date reserved.
  • Personal bookings: payment should be made using a credit or debit card at the time of your booking.
  • Payments by an employer or third party – an invoice will be raised: payment is due within 30 days of issue by bacs. Please provide an email for payment.
  • We do not accept cheques. 
  • Late payments incur an additional 8% charge under the Late Payments of Commercial Debts Act. 
  • Please ensure you pay the correct fee as indicated on our invoices. An administration charge of £20.00 will be made to refund any overpayments.

How to book

Scheduled courses: Registration for most of our courses is at 9:00 am for a 09:30 am start. Most end at 3 pm. The fee is inclusive of VAT @ 20% and includes tuition, course materials, refreshments (not lunch) if face-to-face, and a certificate of completion.

Telephone: Should you prefer to book or order by telephone, these bookings are regarded as firm bookings and a confirmation will be emailed to you with an invoice to be paid within 7 days of receipt (for individual bookings) 30 days for group bookings. 

Post: you can post the order form to us – but it’s advised you email to confirm the dates are available if it’s a larger group booking. 

Email bookings: Will be accepted as long as we have the order details, your full name, contact details, and invoice contact details.

All orders can be booked online using credit/debit card.

Cancellation – Courses

Cancellations within 28 days of the course start date are subject to 100% of the course fee, however, we can accept named substitutes within this period or date changes where possible booked within 45 days of the original booking. 

Cancellations received more than 28 days of the course start date will be liable to a £20.00 administration fee.

Cancellations must be made by email and will not be accepted by any other means.

Postponement due to restrictions

Should a course need to be cancelled or postponed due to restrictions such as ‘lockdown’ either nationally or locally we will endeavour to re-schedule and transfer your place. If the course itself is not subject to a restriction but you are because of your location we will transfer your booking to the next available or convenient date. Our existing cancellation and travel and accommodation terms remain unaffected.

Riva Training reserve the right to cancel, amend or postpone a course at any time and without prior notice, we appreciate your time and commitment and will make every effort to deliver, should we be forced to make changes we will offer you alternative dates.

Price Increases

Although we update our website on a regular basis, we reserve the right to increase our prices at any time. Courses booked before price changes will be honoured at the original price quoted. 

All orders for products are subject to availability and Riva training reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company.

Complaints

Any concerns regarding our services should be made by email to info@rivatraining.co.uk 

Your concerns should be made to us within seven days of receipt of our service/goods.

We will respond in writing to your complaint within 10 days of its receipt.
