Katy Peters

Katy is a travel and immunisation specialist nurse and the Founder and CEO of London vaccination clinic, overseeing 7 private nurse-led travel clinics in central London, she is a member of the Faculty of Travel Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and from where she was awarded the Cameron Lockie prize for excellence.

Katy is a leader in the field of immunisations, vaccine hesitancy, and travel health, a practice nurse and a previous aid worker for Medicines Sans Frontiers. Katy is a popular, engaging and motivational trainer.

Laura Kennedy

Laura is an experienced travel health nurse and has worked in private travel clinics over the last 10 years and assisted in setting up new clinics too.

Laura has also spent 7 years working in the NHS as a school immunisation nurse vaccinating school-aged children.

More recently she has created and delivered various training courses including vaccination training, travel health training, basic life support and anaphylaxis training to a variety of healthcare practitioners both face-to-face and online. 

Laura loves teaching and sharing knowledge and real-life experiences from her nursing career. Laura believes it’s important to make training both fun and memorable!
 
Laura’s real passion is anything vaccine-related and loves any conversations about injections!

Objectives:

This course will provide you with an inspiring and comprehensive revision of immunity and how vaccines work and equip you with the confidence and knowledge to fully support parents and individuals in their engagement with the national vaccination schedule.
